Finally, as we are in the middle of the festive season, I send my warm greetings and my good wishes for a happy, healthy and fulfilling New Year 2006 to all members of the ICFC, their families and friends.

It
has been a special pleasure and an honour for me to be invited
to be a Patron of the India Canada Friendship Circle. Ever since
I got to know of this modest and yet very effective and outgoing
organization, I have been genuinely and deeply impressed by their
dedication to promoting awareness of India as a civilization,
of Indian culture and traditions, and in general, of the Indian
ethos and the country’s strengths, both civilisational and
contemporary, to the Canadian public at large. I am sure that
over time, these efforts of the ICFC will bear rich dividends.As
a Patron of the ICFC, I would be ready and willing to contribute
to their work in any way possible. I see this as a part of our
more general mission of strengthening India-Canada ties in every
possible area.
